[Cherry Girls] Meet the “girls” of the Cherry Girls cafe~!

The rumored cafe in town “Cherry Girls”
4 maids work there, but they are actually the owner’s “sons”
There’s no way such cute girls could be guys, you say?
No wait, there’s no way such cute girls could even exist!

So who are the maids that wear cute outfits, call their customers “Master” and cause them to get weak at the knees? Find out below!

The eldest son: Nao

The eldest son Nao is a bishounen/pretty boy whose appearance can be easily mistaken for a girl’s. Characterized by “his” (her?) long silky hair, Nao is a gentle and tidy person. His gentle demeanor and calming smile is said to attract many customers to the “Cherry Girls” cafe.

(Note: The term used to say he attracts customers was “kanbanmusume,” which implies a female that attracts male customers to the shop. In the original text, it said 看板娘 (?), since Nao is really a male.)

Nao wears a maid outfit which consists of a fascinating long sleeved kimono which lends itself to the shop’s name by being patterned with sakura flowers. The obi worn around his waist is also accented with an elegant sakura flower.

The second eldest: Yuki

The second oldest son Yuki is strongly against dressing as a girl. Though he’s grown up opposing Nao’s femininity (which can be seen no matter which way you see him), he’s often mistaken as just putting on a “noble male” act (while dressing and looking like a girl). However, since helping the cafe is something that the entire family has decided not to go against, Yuki’s ended up having to “serve” in a maid outfit at the family’s cafe, “Cherry Girls.”

His maid costume consists of black and white colors in a gothic punk fashion. The black ribbon in his hair associates itself with the cafe’s namesake with a dark red blooming sakura flower. The skull accent supposedly gives off a sort of complex character vibe?

The third son: Tomo

Tomo is the glasses wearing, cool and collected third son of the family and he gives off an intellectual vibe. Between the high tension of the other brothers, Tomo is the most composed and takes charge. However, he also has a sadistic side that comes and goes in that he likes to tease Yuki about his hate for dressing as a girl. Tomo handmakes all of the maid outfits for the sake of the Cherry Girls cafe, so perhaps he has a bit of a “tsundere” in him?

His maid outfit is mainly a pure white china dress. His headdress is decorated with scarlet sakura blossoms. His tight silhouette emphasized by his slender form is charming, and the high cut slit rather breathtaking!?

The youngest: Rio

Wearing his simple white tights, the fourth son Rio, together with the eldest Nao, are the two most popular “shounen” maids that attract customers to the Cherry Girls cafe. His simple-minded and charming behavior easily makes customers fall in love. If he knew about the kind of looks he was getting, would his service heat up?

His Alice in Wonderland inspired maid outfit fits his energetic personality perfectly. If he’s called as he runs around the cafe with his Cheshire cat knapsack, he’ll turn his head with a gentle flutter of his skirt. The boyish (?) silk hat with pink sakura just might be fitting for Rio.

So there you have it! The four brothers that are the cafe’s main attraction! Anybody fallen for them yet?

Note about translations: I’ve tried to preserve whatever grammar the original text used, which might sound weird in some places, while adding some of my own comments to clear some things up. I’m not a perfect translator so this is about the best I can do right now, which hopefully is enough to extend to the reader the kind of atmosphere the original text is trying to convey here. Anyway, enjoy!
