[Figure] Zero no Tsukaima Louise nendoroid

Unfortunately it looks like it’s a Hobby Stock exclusive! :( A joint production between Hobby Stock and Goodsmile Company, this Louise is based off of the upcoming 3rd season of the Zero no Tsukaima anime series (though I guess it doesn’t really matter which season she’s from. Louise is equally cute in all of them!). Release date is yet to be determined.

[Games] Chrono Trigger DS! (or better??)

ahhh my friend just showed me this! Square Enix has put up a page with a countdown of sorts (?) with a ticking clock in the style of the Chrono series’ clock that’s used for the “C” in Chrono. On the left side is the Nintendo DS logo. Popped on over to IGN to see an article on it, and they wonder if it’s a remake of Chrono Trigger possibly in 3D like what SE’s been doing with the FF series lately (probably the likely thing), but they also mention that a true sequel to Chrono Trigger may also be a possibility. Don’t really know much as of yet, so what “ctds” turns out to be will probably be announced at E3!

Update: It’s good ol’ Chrono Trigger with added dual screen/touch screen functionality, and a new dungeon? Also wireless play? Hmmm wonder what that’s all about. Performing tech attacks with a friend through wireless co-op? via IGN

[Figures] Shining Wind Ryuuna’s frontal debut

A couple days back Shining series blog Shine na blog updated with some new shots of Kotobukiya’s new Ryuuna figure (9th in the series so far. More on the way most likely!). Her face is now presented to the world, but not yet painted. A colored version is expected to make an appearance at the upcoming WonderFest.

[Otaku] Dancing Nendoroids

lol I came across a couple of these videos by accident on youtube while heading there to search for something else. The Hatsune Miku video was on the front page so I clicked on that, and clicked on a related after that to find a Haruhi video. Got sidetracked and now I forgot what I was originally going to search for. o.O

Anyway, nendoroids are usually cute by themselves, but seeing them dance is way too cute too handle! Especially the cute details like seeing Miku climb to the upper level and seeing her trip right before the curtain closes. lol

Hatsune Miku and friends dance to one of her tunes, then to caramell somethin somethin (dunno what it’s called) at the end

Haruhi, Yuki, and Mikuru dance to Hare Hare Yukai

[Cherry Girls] Boys like maid clothing!? — Story 2, Chapter 2

The boys that are even cuter than girls — Four brothers serve as waiters dressed as maids at the rumored cafe “Cherry Girls.”

Yuki-kun, the second eldest of the brothers, accepted as punishment advertising the store around the block wearing an embarassing outfit (along with Rio-kun, who thought it might be fun to do the same). Along the way, they bumped into Rio-kun’s classmates…

[Anime] Queen’s Blade anime!

*head explodes* Great news for fans of the Queen’s Blade series! (or fans of the QB characters’…um…assets) With the release of the latest Queen’s Blade character books, Arain and Aldora, Hobby-Channel has announced that Queen’s Blade has been greenlit for production as a TV anime! Also covered by Heisei Democracy, the announcement hints at the possibility of Reina Vance being the main character of the series, but nothing concrete is stated as of yet. HD speculates that character designer for the series may be handled by Hisayuki Hirokazu, character designer of Reina (and her sisters Erina and Claudette)and the My-Hime series, which was created by Sunrise, a property of Bandai. Bandai apparently also owns Hobby Japan, so it seems like it could happen. Again though, nothing is certain as of yet. Some of the comments in the HD post also hope that it doesn’t turn out something like the Ikkitousen anime. Having just recently finished watching the first series of that and almost done with Dragon Destiny, I can say that I share their sentiments, and hope that it turns out better than Ikkitousen. Ikkitousen was almost painful to watch, but really I was only in it for the boobies lol. Dragon Destiny is slightly better, but most of it has to do with improved character designs. Let’s hope that Queen’s Blade has the best of both story and character design worlds eh?

[Figures] New Sangokushi ver. Ikkitousen figure & Alternate color Kanu

On the heels (sort of) of opening preorders of Toy’sworks’ Ikkitousen - Three Kingdoms era inspired Kanu Unchou, comes an alternate white dress/black panties version of that same figure. If you thought the Three Kingdoms era Kanu is hot, then you may also be happy to know that a second and third figure in the same vein are on their way as well. Info gleaned from Toy’sworks and Ganbo store.

[Review] Shuraki Trinity Box-04: Nida Schuetlich

Ahh and after nearly half a year in wait, my first ever figure preorders finally reaches my grubby little hands from KidNemo Company! Her name is Nida Schuetlich, and she is also the first figure from Goodsmile Company X Red Entertainment’s collaboration figure series/world Shuraki Trinity to hang out with my other figures. She was designed by Yamashita Shunya, and was translated very well to pvc by Hagii Shunji.
