Doujin erogame soft maker Tinklebell updated their site over the weekend, opening up an official page for their newest work in progress (being worked on alongside Music Box of the Sun), the latest in the Punyupuri series — Rondo Duo! Super ecchi dynamism! The Rondo will never end!

[Games] TGS2008 – New(half) model Tsubaki Ayana in Yakuza 3

Whowaowa. The Ryu ga Gotoku games (aka Yakuza) have always had a penchant for getting pretty girls to play the role of the hostesses/cabaret girls/”industry workers” in their games, with JAV actress Natsume Nana appearing in Ryu ga Gotoku 2 (um…probably one of these girls here. I actually haven’t spent time on that part of the game yet, so I can’t quite pick her out lol. But holy cow the girl second from the front on the right side has some huge ones) and race queen YinLing of JoyToy in the historical spin-off Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan. For the upcoming PS3 exclusive Ryu ga Gotoku 3, they’ve already teamed up with japanese fashion magazine Koakuma Ageha to introduce I think 7 of their models into the game as such characters. Today, another model has been added to the roster in the form of 24-year-old Japanese newhalf model Tsubaki Ayana. She’ll be in the game as a massage specialist, which of course heals you up and adds a bit of heat to your heat gauge (for special attacks). Of course…

I didn’t know who she was or anything about her being a newhalf till somebody mentioned it in the comments of a Kotaku post, and Google paved the rest of the way for me. However, I still couldn’t find whether or not she’s post-op or still got his/her man-bits, but…hey from what I see and hear, s/he’s pretty much all girl… Is it wrong to have ecchi thoughts of her? Him? Uh…what? lol S/he’s like the epitome of the kind of traps that, say…the boys of Cherry Girls are. Except..well…with boobs lol.

[Games] TGS2008 – Street Fighter IV

Fresh from the Tokyo Game Show that is taking place this very minute, somebody’s uploaded the trailer that was shown there onto youtube. New character confirmed is the peppy Sakura, with possibly Cammy and Dan (shown in anime trailers. I think Cammy is still tentative but probably a highly likely addition to the roster). I feel like I’m missing somebody but can’t quite remember. Read it earlier today and too lazy to dig it back up again lol. Gouki/Akuma shows up at the end of the trailer below and is already confirmed. Gouken/Shen Long I think so far is confirmed as a non playable character. Don’t think there’s any word yet on whether or not he’ll be playable by the time the game makes it onto the PS3/360. Anyway here are the trailers below:

[Games] Street Fighter IV – Aftermath anime trailer

A new anime trailer for Street Fighter IV that briefly tells what’s been goin on after the events of Street Fighter II. Shoot I can’t wait for this game! Oh and also, they should make another SF2 Animated Movie…

[Games] Yakuza 3 screens (Ryu ga Gotoku 3)

Famitsu has released a number of screens for Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3 here in the US) for the PS3. I just got Yakuza2 last week for the PS2 and it’s pretty damn fun. Got an interesting story, characters, and the fighting is quite satisfying. To slam a thug’s face into a wall, then knee them in the back of the head back into the wall as they fall down is…an awesome feeling lol.

 

 

 

 

[Games] Project DIVA w/ Hatsune Miku

An upcoming game for the PSP by Sega of Japan, starring everybody’s favorite leek flailing virtual idol, Hatsune Miku. The game is called “Hatsune Miku – Project DIVA” (or maybe it’s the other way around), and it is most appropriately a music game, a rhythm game to be exact. You can see what it’ll be like in the trailer below. The PSP’s face buttons (O, X, □, △) will appear on the screen in a sequence, and each one will have a timer hand on it that’ll spin around 360 from the top, and once it reaches the top that’s your cue to hit the button to the tune of a Miku song. I’m sure there’s more to it than that, but that’s all I saw in the trailer. In addition to the rhythm game, you can also earn customization items for both Miku and her room. I’m assuming whatever clothing or accessories you customize her with will appear while you’re playing the game, though don’t quote me on that. Project DIVA’s scheduled for release sometime in 2009. I’m a fan of rhythm games (with only mild interest in Hatsune Miku), so I’ll probably look out for this one

[Games] Rumor: Cross Edge coming to US?

I would have used crossing over, but the article I’m about to quote already used it in their title lol. Anyway, over at Siliconera, they’ve gotten word from none other than “a trusted inside source” that Cross Edge may be getting a US release. What this means for other english speaking countries I don’t really know, but maybe they will be getting a release as well? I guess it depends on who wants to take the publishing reigns in their region. For a look at the game, Otadesho posted up a large number of screenshots for the game a while back.

[Books] Queen’s Gate new book — Shiranui Mai

As if there were any doubt that she’d make an appearance! When Iroha was introduced (or I guess officially Nijihara Ink….well technically Alice was the start of it all when she literally opened up the Queen’s Gate…)　to the Queen’s Gate world I think she opened up the…uh…floodgates for this kinda thing. We’ll probably be seeing many more anime characters (something like Ikkitousen or Sekirei are probably the perfect candidates, though we already see them with little clothes to begin with lol) and game characters (one or few of many DoA girls?) in the future. Might see a few original characters pop up here and there, though maybe they would better fit within the Queen’s Blade universe instead.

 

[Games] Dissidia Final Fantasy gameplay – Tidus vs. Jecht

Another video’s been released showing gameplay of Dissidia for the upcoming PSP game. This time it’s Tidus vs. his old man Jecht, both characters from FFX. I think the Onion Knight and Cloud of Darkness vid looked more impressive, but this should still be a pretty fun game nonetheless lol.
