So what do you guys think?
The only one I really know is Kugimiya Rie and I like her voice, but imagining Zero no Tsukaima’s Louise or Rizelmine as Rio is kinda weird! haha She was different as Aisaka Taiga, but Rio is a character that has a lot of energy, so I don’t think Taiga version Rie is the right fit. I dunno though, sometimes you can only really come to like a voice once you hear them as the character.

I’ve heard Kitamura Eri in a number of her roles according to animenfo, but I can’t really place a finger on what she sounds like. I still have ToraDora around though so I took a listen to her as Ami. A bit high for Yuki? …but Ami is just one role, so I don’t think I can make an opinion on just one role.

I dunno much about Shiraishi Ryouko, so I can’t really comment much about her on Tomo lol.

And Takahashi Mikako as Nao… it’s sort of like with Yuki. I’ve heard her in a number of her roles, but can’t really remember what she sounds like lol. To be honest, I was kind of hoping Noto Mamiko would make it as Nao. Whether that is a good choice or not I dunno, but I love Noto Mamiko lol.

A beautiful maid that is a beautiful cosplayer… but Tomo-kun, a “boy,” has a secret that he’ll only show “you” over the net♪ He only wanted to show his latest costume creation, but the mood is gradually getting hotter… I, is it ok to show it off?! And also in the comic, Tomo-kun flashes glimpses of his delicate feelings (?). A “boy’s heart” is quite difficult to understand!

I’ve done a good job if I do say so myself.
While it’s quite faithful to the source material, it also really doesn’t seem too anime-ish or cheap looking.
I also came up with my own touches in the material and details of the outfit.

Covering his male body with his arms and towel, Yuki-kun presses his head for any bright ideas.
Around them are the drunk women, frolicking in the nude…
If the two were found out to be guys, they might be in for something terrible…!

Yuki: “Alright, I got it!
Tomo, come here…”

Tomo: “??”

Yuki: “…Ok, I’ll look that way and scream ‘A peeping Tom!’
and then the moment those girls get all worked up…”

Tomo: “That won’t work…I don’t think I can move that suddenly.”

Yuki: “R, right…
——Ok, then how about this!
I’ll out drink the girls…”

Tomo: “Idiot!!
Did you forget what happened when you got dead drunk last time?!”

I don’t handle alcohol well… (in a disguised voice)”

In order to escape from the women who have crowded closely around them, the two brothers tried to shrink their presence as much as possible…but the women won’t let them off that easily.

“That’s right. Now let’s get rid of that towel too♥ Come on come on♥♥”

Yuki: “Wah?! Wah?! Hey wait!!?”

Tomo: “N, noooooo!!”

The two are in a panic as the girls continuously pull at their towels.
Some girly sounds escape their mouths♥

Appearing intoxicated in the misty hot water, Tomo-kun’s legs tremble.

“Now then, time for me to find out what I’m up against…”
“Time to strip, Momo-chan!”

Tomo: “Ah…Ahhh…”

Yuki: “T, Tomo…”

Yuki-kun readies himself——

Nao-kun watches the two with a smile on his face.

The sound of a group slipping into the water follows thereafter.

I’ve got a bad feeling about this…”

Tomo: “…This is quite unexpected. I feel the same.”

……Yuki-kun and Tomo-kun turn towards each other and immediately realize…

I think the latest two are based on artwork in the new book from a maker, and the other one is from the Fan Festa software for PC (one of those things that has a collection of desktop themes/wallpapers/screen savers/etc). The third figure is based off a short novel surrounding Shining Wind.

First up is most likely from the artbook, and from the goods makers. According to the site she’s 90% complete and it sure looks like it. She is Celestia, Elven Queen of the Forest Kingdom of Astraea. Xecty was made in her image.

The second figure is a maid version of Clalaclan Philias which is roughly 60% complete and looks like she’s based off the Fan Festa stuff.

They are both totally :drool: I can’t wait for them to be painted! They may be the best Shining figures yet imo… I especially like Celestia’s flower ornament thing in her hair…

The third figure is Shiina Kanon, and she is from Orchid Seed. The illustration she’s based off of is the Tony illustrated cover of a short novel based on Shining Wind called “Another Link – Onifuuji no Kenshi” (the demon exorcist fencer or something like that, referring to Shiina).

Anyway a little while ago Hobby Japan held an event where fans could submit their own designs for a Queen’s Blade character. HJ has chosen a design from those submissions and seems will be giving the design her own book, but before that they want fans’ opinions on how to adapt the original design for the Queen’s Blade universe. To this end they’re holding a survey for fans to choose out of three designs, two with alternate colors. Cool stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the winning design submitted by QB fan Ban-san (ばんさん)

Character Concept:
What normally looks like an octopus riding on a head, during battle will become like a deity with six extensions.
With both hands and all four individual tentacles holding a weapon, she can master six different kinds of weapons on the battlefield. Holding a blade, sword and an axe among other arms, her dance will allure, but she is a dangerous enemy to have an encounter with. During battle she looks like a hindu deity with her six arms.

 

Character Profile:
A dancer who is a member of a tribe residing in the savage land at the southern end of the continent.
She is not just a dancer, but a fearsome, beautiful warrior. It is also said that she is the guardian of a treasure buried in the midst of ancient ruins. She is said to be a warrior sent by the gods, turning any battlefield she stands on into a sea of blood.
However, she is a mysterious warrior with unknown values, fighting not for the purpose of obtaining wealth.

 

The design will be adapted by artist F.S. (previously created Queen’s Blade’s Echidna, Menasu and Melona)

 

Type-A design. A design that’s rather faithful to the original design. The breasts and the…extra appendage is a bit larger, but that’s just a bit of F.S’ style…　　
At first glance, it incorporates the original octopus on the head design.

 

Type-B design. A design that emphasizes the “dancer” aspect.
Since the tentacles on the head have been made into flowing cloth, it deviates a little from the original 6-armed “god of war” concept (referencing the bloody battlefield bit I guess), but her lightness and femininity have been enhanced. You can choose which color you like, white (白) or black (黒).

 

Type-C design. Middle ground between A and B.
A design that incoporates both the dancer aspect and the tentacles on the head into one. It also radiates an air of the original hindu god concept. Same as Type-B, choose whichever color you like.

There are definitely some interesting designs in there. I like the spider girl and the bound girl with the giant blade on her leg the best.

 

Personally I liked that Type-A felt closest to the original design and is very sexy imo (especially whatever is going on in the gentalia region. How does that stuff stay on? It’s almost like she’s just not wearing anything underneath at all), but in the end I chose Type-B black because I like the femininity and dancer look to her. The flowing cloth looks really nice, but I think the tentacles work better. In any case overall I still find Type-B the most attractive, cuz I mean come on, it’s Queen’s Blade. It’s all about the ladies lol. I also chose black version cuz there’s a lack of dark-skinned ladies in the series (there’s only Irma). I liked Type-C the least, mostly because of the enlarged…elephant trunk? lol Granted they all have some sort of appendage sticking out there, but the squirting elephant trunk thing is just kinda weird.
