[Figures] New Megahouse stuff for preorder

Some new listings appeared up on Amiami just a short while ago, opening up the way for preorders for several Megahouse figures, including ones for Real Drive and Bleach. I think the Bleach figures are reruns, but I don’t really know of that many Bleach figures so this is cool I guess haha 😛

Painted versions of Real Drive’s Minamo and Horon (left and right respectively in the above picture), which first came to my attention from the C3xHobby event as covered by Hobbystock. Minamo turned out pretty nice, but there’s somethin about Horon’s face that just doesn’t sit right with me… They’re expected to be released in late January 2009.

A trio of Bleach rerun figures selected by popular demand. From left to right they’re Matsumoto Rangiku, Abarai Renji, and Inoue Orihime. Rangiku and Renji look ok, but Orihime doesn’t look like any version that I recall… maybe her really early days in the manga. Her later look is much more attractive imo though, since the artist has had much more time to refine his drawing style. Speakin of Bleach though I could use a Yoruichi in my figure collection. Megahouse made one before, but…eh…I think there’s room for one more (or more), preferably by Alpha x Omega perhaps lol.

Anyway these new reruns are also expected to hit in late January.

Yes Yoruichi needs to be redone by someone better. Mega House sucks. Rangiku was not so bad at least, I have her, but her weapon broke easily.

SEGA is doing a Yourichi that looks fairly attractive. SEGA doesn’t measure up to Alter but they sometimes put out some real nice figures for the price.

hmm ahh yea the Sega prize figures right? After being excited for, then subsequently disappointed at the release of the DOA Kasumi and Summer Beach prize figures from Sega, I’m a little weary about getting any prize figs at all, though the prices are fairly nice. lol
