By suneo

Hi there and thanks for visiting! suneo here, but I also go by feiX in forums and stuff.

So what the crap is [ゆうわくワク]? Well, it’s pronounced Yuuwakuwaku and is a combination of two words in japanese: Yuuwaku (ゆうわく), and Wakuwaku (わくわく). They mean “temptation” and “excitement” respectively. So I guess together they mean “exciting temptation”? I basically just picked out two words that describe how I feel about my interests (anime, figures, games, etc etc). The last waku at the end is in katakana cuz I thought it was a clever touch lol. Katakana can be used to write normal japanese words to emphasize or show distinction. So yup…katakana.

I just recently rekindled my interest in figures ever since a brief stint of collecting trading figures died out several years ago. Trading figures were so random to buy, it was disappointing that I never got the ones that I wanted, and there was nobody around I could trade duplicates with. Basically it was a waste of money lol. Well now that I’m back into figures, I’ve moved on up and am now starting to look at the 1/8 to 1/6 scale figures. I’ve realized now that after looking at a figure that just seems ok at first will become much more desirable the more you look at it. To the point that you must have it, but may not have the budget for it, and it just kills you inside. Yup…that’s that temptation that I was talking about earlier lol. As for excitement, well, there are lots of new anime, figures, and games out there that just look really good, and really makes me want to watch, buy, play them right away. But alas, some of them are still off in development/production land somewhere, so comes the exciting wait until they arrive.

Anyway, I thought the title of my first ever blog here was a pretty good idea, but the more I watch myself type up what I mean, the more lame it’s starting to sound… Oh well I started it and I’ll stick with it. lol

So to summarize, I’m basically just a simple guy tryin to make a simple blog about his simple interests.

よろしく!
