Found this in the anime merchandise section of the HongFire forums. Forum member Kouji-kun has gotten a hold of a picture of a completed and painted version of this figure from a local import store.
One of my very first posts on this blog was an item from Shine na Blog about a couple of new Shining Wind figures in the works; one being the above Elwin from Kotobukiya, and the other from Wave of Xecty dressed in a patient’s garb on a bed (based on this illustration). Still waitin to see how that Xecty’s turned out, but in the meantime, you got Elwin and her magnificent cleavage to keep you cozy!
I haven’t seen this for preorder yet at the stores I visit frequently and I dunno what store Kouji-kun was talking about, but maybe the fact that they got the picture means they’ve received the solicitation and should be showing up in more stores soon.

Ohh, at last it finished. First time i saw this figure still unpainted version, in Danny Choo news item.
This Elwyn wore her new outfit from anime Shining Tears X Wind, while Elwyn figure that has been released wore her old outfig from game Shinig Tears (PS2).
I guess this Elwyn is going into my wishlist.
Nice figure, real emphasis on the chest area lol. I love the detailed wings and the paint job looks really good, hopefully the mass production of this figure won’t affect the detail and paint.
