Saw this from HeiseiDemocracy. Looks like Daiki Kougyou will be bringing this Kanu figure that…..words are unworthy to describe. Sculpt by Hagii Shunji, and currently set for a December release for 16,591yen. 1/6 scale. Cast-off. Excellence all around. I’d love to see Hagii Shunji tackle other Ikkitousen manga covers. ^^

[Figures] New Sangokushi ver. Ikkitousen figure & Alternate color Kanu

On the heels (sort of) of opening preorders of Toy’sworks’ Ikkitousen – Three Kingdoms era inspired Kanu Unchou, comes an alternate white dress/black panties version of that same figure. If you thought the Three Kingdoms era Kanu is hot, then you may also be happy to know that a second and third figure in the same vein are on their way as well. [Review] Goodsmile / Comic Gum’s pearl black Ryomou Shimei

Again I’ve been putting this off for so long lol. I got this lovely Ryomou Shimei in nearly a month ago, which brings my total Ryomou count to two now ^^ Somehow when I first started collecting figures I was totally attracted by Ryomou Shimei, even though I’d only seen a few episodes of Ikkitousen. After a few months of figure collecting, I finally get my second figure of her and am reminded of why I’m attracted to her in the first place. :3

 

 

 

[Figure] Kanu Unchou nya~

Announced a few days back to be present as a garage kit at the final iteration of the World Hobby Festival Ariake (the 18th one) is a 1/7 scale Kanu Unchou “Nekomimi” (kitty ears) version from Griffon Enterprises. They’ll have 70 kits at their booth sold at a price of 8800Yen each. Akiba Hobby has a look at a completed kit in their sample review.

 

 

 

 

[Otaku] New releases, preorders, and previews

A number of things dropped in the past couple days that I’m looking forward to. First off Akibablog reminded me that the new book in the Queen’s Gate series has been released. Akiba Hobby has posted a sample review of Kotobukiya’s Sennin Narika. From Heisei Democracy and Amiami.com comes a listing showing that GoodSmile Company’s Hayase Mitsuki in swimsuit is available for preorder now. And lastly, a one shot of an interesting looking Kanu Unchou figure (in Three Kingdom’s era armor), which should be hitting later in the year.

 

 

[figures] final look at Griffon’s Ryomou Shimei maid and Teni

Shots of the final production version of Griffon’s Ryomou Shimei have *finally* been released, after being open for preorders almost 3 weeks ago. Griffon’s Teni DX version which made her debut at the recent WonderFest this past February is also open for preorder now along with completed shots. Teni looks to have a battle scarred clothing look similar to Kanu Unchou’s DX limited version (down to the same left nipple exposed), also from Griffon. Ryomou looks like she won’t let anybody near her so no tattered clothing for her, though she is showing off some nice cleavage.

Preorders have popped up for two of Alter’s latest offerings: Lily Salvatana from Nitroplus’ erogame Satsuriko no Jango, and Ikkitousen’s Chouun Shiryu. They are now widely available for preorder on both japanese and english stores.

[figures] lusting after new figures from WonderFest

HOLY CRAP, I thought Heisei Democracy’s Hobby Japan preview a couple days back was mindblowing, well the barrage of pics from WonderFest from various hobby sites just gave me a total braingasm x5. This isn’t a complete coverage by any means (I’ll leave it to the folks who are actually getting the news to do that), but I picked out a number of mostly PVC figures that caught my eye and immediately induced high levels of “DO WANT”.

[figures] Completed versions of a few WonderFest releases. *updated*

A couple days back in the valentine’s post I mentioned a little about the resin kits (of interest) that Griffon will be selling at WonderFest. Today they updated their page with sample pics of what the completed versions of their Queen’s Blade Echidna and Ikkitousen Teni look like. Unfortunately still no completed look at Tomoe. Even though she’s only on display at the event, it’d be nice if they displayed a completed look. Another figure that’s just been completed is Reflect’s new Cammy.

A few new figures have gone up for preorder on Amiami, and most other online stores should have them up soon I think. Goodsmile Company’s 19 year old Takamachi Nanoha from Nanoha StrikerS, Toy’sWorks Miyamoto Rei from Inazuma’s High School of the Dead (woohoo!), and a very sexy alternate version of Yamato’s prisoner Kanu Unchou.
